Birds on a Wire

I’m a fan of intimacy and commitment in my fic so it’s rare that I read threesomes but I gave this one a shot and it worked really well for me. I’m not sure I’ll ever entirely believe that Jack would let down his defences enough to give into the double appeal of Daniel and Sam but the set up in this allows me to suspend that disbelief just enough and the payoff is worth it. (I also have to say that stories like this make me rethink my position on initimacy as it’s there between Jack, Sam, and Daniel in spades.)

A Night on the Town

Jensen visits Jared in San Antonio.  It’s a long first-time fic ripe with pining and an ample amount of boys being boys.

Breaking Status Quo

This is tremendously satisfying comfortfic.  It’s slow and lazy and sensual and pushes all the right buttons.

In This Moment 

An SPN RPS AU!  Struggling actor Jensen takes a job as big-shot movie star Jared Padalecki’s dogsitter. And the rest, as they say, is history.  Though a bit schmoopy, it’s a fun, sweet story.

And the Rest, As they Say, Is History

“You say it’s over, but you never say it to him. When it matters, you falter. You’re silent and stiff and bitter. He tastes sweet, like bubblegum and honey. You feel like a dirty ashtray. You watch him cross a room like he owns it, and you hear him laugh and want to laugh too.”  Second person Jensen POV and it’s gorgeous.  I’m not sure how a story so full of longing can also feel easy but it does.  Perhaps it’s the satisfaction of the end.

All You Want

This one is short but it packs an awful lot into a few paragraphs. Sometimes it’s just nice to read this pairing written easily, without angst.

“Six hours! We were in there! Eating! For six solid hours! I mean–” Sam flapped his hands around a little. “Does this not weird you out at all!? Don’t you think it’s kind of–dude, turn around, I think I saw a Marble Slab…”  I don’t usually go for humor or anything nearly resembling crack!fic but this is too funny and well done to resist.
