I can just stay all highly evolved and channel Jean Grey—no, not Dark Phoenix—wait, what, woah. Ascend or die? Those are really shitty options you’re giving me here.” He took a step back, running a hand through his sweaty hair as he tried to process. “Damnit, Elizabeth, this is not fascinating, it’s my life.” John glared for all his worth. “So, fine. I’ll just ascend, do a quickie turnaround and come back. No, Elizabeth, it is that easy; I’ll make it that easy.”

The one where Rodney gets sucked in and John… follows. Featuring a quirky John, Rodney in orange robes, crazy Ancient-worship, sheep milking and jumpers that aren’t broken but need to be fixed anyway. Written for the sga_bigbang prompt: Forks in the Road: Epiphany - Rodney goes through the portal with/instead of John. There’s a nice slow build to this story.
Zen And The Art Of Jumper Maintenance
Summary: A decade after Supernatural ends, Jared Padalecki is still working in series television. His marriage to Sandy is coming to an amicable end, and he’s famous enough that he wants to be out of town before he becomes a tabloid headline. Nice and long (though the acknowledgment pining for Jensen seemed to come on a bit suddenly).

This is a classic example of failure to communicate.
John is pretty sure they’re in love, so it’s too bad that Rodney is a selfish sack of shit in bed. John tries to stop thinking that, because he really wants to just enjoy finally having someone who makes him feel the way Rodney does, but the sex thing sticks in his throat and, more and more, he can’t even really enjoy sliding inside Rodney because it makes him remember Rodney’s mouth, the faint, quickly covered look of distaste when he’d thought about fucking John. John hadn’t asked again.
Selfish
“Dr McKay!” he says, sounding both delighted and British. “I was starting to think I’d — well, there are certain temporal parameters that have to be jiggled when aiming for a place with such frequent wormhole activity, and the background resonance — well, it’s a bit — well, never mind. Good to see you.” This is a brilliant crossover that captures both the best of Dr. Who and the best of Rodney McKay.

Relax, it’s Just Sex
day one thousand eight hundred twenty-seven Jack and Daniel are captured and set to sport. This is some spectacular h/c. I loved the structure of the story, too, with the mix of second person narration and mission debriefs. A fantastic, read.
