A comparison of the Ianto that was and the Ianto that is. This is a compelling and heart wrenching portrait.
The Difference Between Then and Now

After all the endless speculation at Torchwood London about Captain Jack Harkness, it’s a disappointment to meet the man. He’s as much of a flirt as rumored, but he’s not the walking wet dream of his advertisements. He’s too slick, too polished, and there’s something off about the way his face moves. Ianto once watched a nature video of hammerhead sharks and they fit Jack too well for comfort. An incredible look at Ianto through “Fragments.” Powerful, moving, and a bit heartbreaking all at once.

A thoughtful story in the aftermath of Cyberwoman.

“…the number of things Jack could truly rely on… he could count them on one hand. Strangely enough, Ianto was one of those things.” Gorgeous first time time fic set just after Cyberwoman through Countrycide.

The team becomes parents! Wonderfully sweet.
Hope, Duty, Pride, Home
Four mothers, four children, two galaxies; a team. A story about births and beginnings. Just lovely and entirely unique.
Tale, Theorem, Promise, Plea
It’s a hot little PWP and I enjoyed it tremendously.

Perhaps if Jack hadn’t been so fixated on Ianto’s body, the recovery of his skin and the time it took him to stop favouring his left foot, he might have noticed the change in Ianto’s behaviour more quickly. A wonderful first time fic set post-Countrycide.
Reach Out and Touch

Summary: After Jack disappears, Torchwood hires a new tea boy — someone to fetch and carry and take some of the burden off Ianto’s shoulders. Nicholas knows his place is in the shadows, but he watches and listens as the dramas of Torchwood play out around him. And he learns all the rules. AU for the second season, but only slightly. Superbly done. It was a fantastic view of the characters, and events, through someone else’s eyes.

This story is all confusion and angst. Poor boys.
