A Walk in the Snow

He’d made a list in his head of the things he thought he’d miss the most. Flying. The thrill of going through the stargate, the jolt up his damaged spine that he got every time, including the last. Even his uniform, down to the laces on his standard-issue boots. His Mustang. His mom’s pecan pie.

Set midst Continuum.   A wonderful story.  It aches just the way you would expect it to and it made me believe.

Last Train for the Coast

Summary: It’s not like the Doctor actually had any real experience with Human-Timelord Meta-Crises. Lovely story! Yay for resolution to Journey’s End!

World Enough and Time

Penny desperately needs to save face in front of her ex, so Sheldon pretends to be her boyfriend. It’s like Three’s Company all up in here. Spot on character voices.  I loved this story.

The Failure of Einstein’s Universe

Hitch knows that the word Cole is trying to think of is “penurious,” but he doesn’t think it’s his place to correct Cole on this. Instead he asks a question that has been on his mind. “Town’s been having problems with the Radigans for a while. If Cyrus was the weak link all this time, how come nobody went after him before?”

A pre-movie fic that feels like canon and sets the tone for Virgil & Everett’s friendship.

This fic gets deep into Jack’s psyche and his reaction to sex with Daniel. It’s a compelling perspective on gender roles & masculinity. And it’s hot.
