They put you on trial for–” John’s eyes bugged, and the man saw this and gesticulated wildly, like he was trying to erase the words from the air, “–forget that, never mind, not the point! The point is that twenty years from now, aliens have put you in a box that–makes everything go wrong!”

This is one of those stories where I want to say, “screw the summary, just go read it. now.”  In a totally different, SGA compliant way, it reminded me a bit of The Time Traveler’s Wife (which everyone should read).  This is Rodney intersecting with John through his life, always saving it.

Summary: It’s July 2005, and Jensen Ackles is meeting the man of his dreams at the bus stop. Fabulously sweet kid-fic AU.

Things Change, My Dear

[a follow up. and another one four years later. both are also super sweet.]

Summary: Prentiss has a flat tire, no power, and a free weekend. Rossi has several spare bedrooms, wine, and a wood-burning stove. Emily’s a little baffled, but she’d like the chance to enjoy the evening a little longer. This is just what I look for in Prentiss & Rossi and exactly what I see in the subtext on-screen.   I loved this story.

Cause of Snow

Summary: Don had never learned to lay off the pitches that were no good for him. This fic is fantastic.  It’s Don’s POV and it’s history and present and so much of what makes Don & Charlie perfect together and perfect for each other.

Low and Outside

Summary: When you don’t die in the desert, life goes on. Just the post “Vegas” story I’ve been waiting for.
